"There's a Presence in This Place"  given by John Angotti, a talented Catholic composer and musician, with a powerful and soulful voice. John will lead music at the weekend Masses and offer a concert and two mission nights. All events are open to non-parishioners, and there are no tickets, reservations, or fees for any events. BEHOLD Adoration ~ Thursday, April 3 ~The Seven Last Words of Christ

Transitional Diaconate Ordination ~ Saturday, April 5 ~ 11:00am

With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Diocese of Joliet-in-Illinois joyfully announces and requests the honor of your presence at the ordination of Mr. Samuel Bergmann, Mr. Andrew Bogusz, and Mr. Jonathan Hernandez to the Sacred Order of the Diaconate through the imposition of hands and the invocation of the Holy Spirit by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Ronald A. Hicks, Bishop of Joliet-in-Illinois. Please  join us in this celebration of faith and commitment.

Lenten Confessions ~ Friday, April 11 from 3:00 - 7:00pm

The Catholic parishes of the Joliet area will be offering Lenten Confessions on Friday, April 11, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cathedral.  All are welcome to participate. Confessions will be available in English, Polish, French, German, and Spanish. For a complete listing of confessors and their available times, please use the link below. Stations of the Cross ~ Friday during Lent

We will be praying the Stations of the Cross every Friday at 7:00 PM in the Cathedral. Additionally, we will hold a special session at 6:00 PM on Good Friday. For those who may wish to reflect at their own pace, the Stations of the Cross can also be prayed at any time by reflecting on the images on the walls of the Cathedral. You can also download the booklet below when praying the stations at home.

First Sundays After Mass ~ April 6 @ noon

As we approach Palm Sunday and the significant days of Holy Week, Seminarian Intern, Daniel Obendorf, will be presenting insights on the Passion narratives, specifically focusing on the Gospel of John.  This presentation promises to deepen our understanding of these vital passages as we prepare to reflect on the events leading to Easter. I encourage you to attend and engage with Daniel's insights.

Seniors Luncheon ~ Thursday, April 17 @ 12:00pm

Dr. Jim Healy will entertain us with his acclaimed one-man, one-act semi-biographical play about Louis Jolliet, titled "A Solid Path Through Water." Vacation Bible School ~ June 24 - 27

We are so excited to announce the return of Vacation Bible School on June 23-27! Come To The Table and be a part of this amazing event.  We are in need of volunteers and donations to make this a wonderful experience for all the kids. Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal

Thought the CMAA, we show generosity toward the most vulnerable members of our community. We also benefit, as a parish, from the many ministries the CMAA supports, that touch our own lives and the lives of our fellow parishioners. Ministries that include vocations, Catholic education, & faith formation.  Our parish goal is $ 73,500. The diocese will return 70% of any amount we raise over our goal to us, to be used fruitfully within our own parish. Please review the materials you received and prayerfully reflect on your gift to this year’s annual appeal.

AND we’re also thrilled to welcome back the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for our little ones aged 4 and 5.  Early registration helps us with planning, so sign up today!

We patiently practice Lectio Divina (Divine Reading) and Visio Divina (Divine Seeing). These prayer forms can help us recognize God's indwelling presence; God's desire for us to know him intimately;
