On weekdays, Mass is celebrated in the Cathedral at 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. During the school year, the St. Raymond School children attend Mass on Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m.
On Saturdays, morning Mass is celebrated at 8:00 a.m.
Sunday Masses are celebrated at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. A Vigil Mass in anticipation of Sunday is celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
While every Mass said at the Cathedral is respectful, reverent and traditional, there are some variations to consider when selecting your preferred Mass time:
During the 7:30 a.m. Mass, our worship is enhanced with a cantor and organ accompaniment.
The 9:00 a.m. Mass also includes music lead by a cantor and organist. In addition, children in kindergarten through second grade are invited to the sacristy during the Liturgy of the Word. During that time, catechists provide an age-appropriate version of the readings and Gospel.
From September through Pentecost, our 40-plus voice choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
The 7:00 p.m. Mass offers contemporary music that varies from week to week. On the First Sunday of the month, our youth are invited to serve as lectors, Extraordinary Ministers and greeters. Our junior high youth group meets prior to Mass for reflection and social time. Our high school youth group meets after Mass.
Mass for Holy Days of Obligation is celebrated at 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the Holy Day. A Vigil Mass is celebrated in anticipation of the Holy Day at 7:00 p.m. This schedule may be adjusted depending upon the day of the week on which the Holy Day is commemorated.
