Description

In order to be married at the Cathedral, couples must participate our marriage preparation program.

Besides meeting with a priest to discuss necessary wedding prepratation, the couple will need to attend the Initial Information Meeting/Foccus Workshop and Pre-Cana Workshop.  Couples need to attend only one class from each workshop.  Both workshops need to be completed at least three months prior to the couple’s scheduled wedding date.  A Sponsor Couple will contact the engaged couple to discuss their Foccus results.

If you are newly engaged and desire to be married at the Cathedral or you and your spouse are interested in becoming a Sponsor Couple to help counsel and offer support to newly engaged couples, please contact the Rectory at 815-722-6653 for more information.
