Fishers of Men

What we do:
Our small group gatherings and events are open to ALL men and consist of Scipture study, group discussion, and prayer.  We study God's word, but we are not just a Bible study group.  We offer support, but we are not just a support group.  We discuss various issues, but we are not just a discussion group.  We consider social issues, but we are not just a social action group.  We help one another and the community, we encourage one another, we pray for one another, we challenge one another, we love one another.

When faced with the important challenges we face today, we have found that it is critical that we are connected with like-minded men, who will lift us up to become the best we can be.  We are a group of men who have recognized that we need God's help to become the men He created us to be.  We also realize that we need one another to become better men.
Fishers of Men Goals:
  • To develop leaders and challenge men to make our world a better place.
  • To develop unity among men from all walks of faith.
  • To encourage and build one another up through friendship and accountability.
  • To help men foster and develop Godly values and virtues.
  • To provide the tools and resources that can help identify ones spritual gifts and how to employ them.
  • To advance the case for Christ in the hearts of men in all churches.
  • To help our Catholic Church foster vocations and grow leaders.

Mission Statement

The Fellowship of the Unashamed
I am a part of the Fellowship of the Unashamed. The die has been cast. The decision has been made. I have stepped over the line. I will not look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is in God’s hands. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, the bare minimum, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, frivolous living, selfish giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, promotions, applause, or popularity to feel significant.
I do not have to be right, first, best, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded to validate my existence.
My face is set.  My gait is fast, my goal is heaven.  My road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my Guide is reliable, and my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded, or delayed.  I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won’t give up, shut up, let up, or slow up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and spoken up for the cause of Christ. I am disciple of Jesus.  I am a Catholic. I must go until He comes, give until I drop, speak out until all know, and work until He stops me.  And when He returns for His own, He will have no difficulty recognizing me.  My banner is clear:
I am part of the Fellowship of the Unashamed!
