ITEM #2: Grandparents Day!

Grandparents Day is this coming Wednesday. This is a unique opportunity to share with our grandparents the place we all love and care for.

The day will begin at 9 AM, Wednesday, April 10th with mass. Grandparents should sit in the body of the church or in selected pews on the Mary and Joseph side of church. Following mass, Ms. Keenon has prepared the students for a sweet and heart-felt music concert.

A few notes for you:

  1. Grandparents should park in the school or church lots and go directly to the Cathedral on April 11th. We will have Mass and the program in the Cathedral. Please be mindful that there is still 8 AM mass and grandparents and grandfriends should not go into the Cathedral until mass is over.
  2. After the program ends, the students will have the chance to show their classrooms to their grandparents. This will be an informal open house. School will dismiss at 11:15 a.m.
  4. There will be a book fair in the Commons so make sure your child’s grandparent or grandfriend take some time to walk through the Commons.
  5. We expect a full house with many grandparents and grandfriends in attendance. To assure space for all our guests, we kindly ask that parents not join us for the day—with the exception of those needed to assist grandparents and grandfriends or those parents who have lost their parents during this past year.

6. Please remind your parents what grade(s) your child/ren are in. This way, we will make sure they get to the right classroom in the quickest way possible.

  1. Grandparents Day is a dress UP day.

We are so excited and can’t wait to share our school experience with our grandparents and grandfriends!!!
